Projects
I joined Twegather May 2010. Since then I have taken on the role of Product Manager. I am in charge of features R&D and roll out. Additionally, I research and improve the usability of the application and community engagement through social media.
Twegather is a project that spawned from a TeamCamp meeting at The Code Factory. The app was launched in an alpha form in the summer of 2009. Twegather is a Twitter-based event creation and management web app for people in a hurry – it literally takes 3 mouse clicks to create and start promoting your gathering.
SynapSync
SynapSync is my 4th year Computer Systems Engineering project. The goal of the project was to develop an easy to setup Content Management System for SMBs. The web application would provide the business a central place to publish their chronological promotional updates and have them published to multiple sources. These sources include Twitter, Facebook, Email List and an Android Mobile Client. The web app was developed on the Google App Engine framework utilizing a combination of Django and Python. Throughout the development of the source code, I created a business plan and competed in a number of entrepreneurial competitions (results).
